Hobaugh (seated right), STS-118 pilot, uses the virtual reality lab at the Johnson Space Center to train for his duties aboard the space shuttle and station. This type of computer interface, paired with virtual reality training hardware and software, helps to prepare the entire team for dealing with space station elements. Astronauts Richard A. (Rick) Mastracchio (left), Dafydd R. (Dave) Williams representing the Canadian Space Agency, both mission specialists; Clayton C. Anderson, Expedition 15 flight engineer; and Barbara R. Morgan, mission specialist, look on. Anderson will join Expedition 15 as flight engineer after launching to the station aboard Space Shuttle Endeavour on mission STS-118.
